He founded business psychology consultancy People Business Psychology Ltd. in 2012.
His experience spans several decades of either working for leading international psychology consultancies, working across cultures and continents, and partnering in and setting up his own businesses. He coaches and develops people on a range of skills and techniques, on the intersection of people, business and psychology.

Jan contributed as author to a book about business psychology in practice, published in 2015 by the ABP, along authors such as Prof Peter Saville, with a foreword by the CEO of the CIPD, Peter Cheese; Jan spoke about this book at an ABPs annual conference. As a member of Mensa, Jan combines pragmatism with robust experience and a (very) high-level ability to incisively apply cognitive reasoning.
Jan has advised many senior managers, boards and C-suites of corporate clients in UK, Europe, Middle East (e.g. Pearson plc, Castrol (BP), Santander, Lloyds banking Group, Oxford University Press, AXA Group, Sony, KLM, Alitalia, Etihad Airways, Colgate, police force, fie service, VISA Europe, AGE UK, the UK Government's Intellectual Property Office [IPO], Emaar [Dubai, UAE], Ooredoo [Oman]), many SMEs and individual clients in the UK and mainland Europe.
For many years, Jan was the lead singer in local pop-music band; in his mind, winning over the crowd was the measure of success of the band he fronted.
