He is a speaker, PR expert, author and journalist. He has been both a TV presenter and expert interviewee. In the latter capacity, he has accumulated over 2,000 radio and TV interviews, and is uniquely placed to give insights about the media, and how organisations and individuals are best able to enhance their image.

Alan holds the highest global speaking designation (FPSA) and the highest speaking award from the UK (PSAE). He is also a Past President of the Global Speakers Federation. He has spoken in more than 40 countries, including many European nations as well as Malaysia, Singapore, The GCC, Southern Africa, Canada, USA and Australia.

In 1996, long before Facebook, he created a successful online social network with over 100,000 paying subscribers.

For over 30 years, he has regularly appeared on channels such as BBC, Sky News and CNN and has been quoted in numerous international newspapers. In 2006, The Independent listed Alan Stevens alongside the PR Expert Max Clifford as one of the top 10 media experts in Europe. He is an expert on communication and the style of great speakers and leaders.

His client list includes; Virgin, Glaxo, The Savoy, Barclays, The Dorchester, Sony Ericsson, The Beverly Hills Hotel and BMW as well as several individual CEOs, politicians and celebrities.

His most recent book Ping, shows how to integrate all types of media into your communication and PR strategy. It was published by Bookshaker Press in late 2009. He is now co-authoring the definitive book on speaking; The Exceptional Speaker with fellow professional speaker Paul du Toit. This book will be published in early 2012.
