Alex Owumi was born in Lagos Nigeria, and moved to the United States at the age of eleven. He is the best-selling author of QADDAFIS POINT GUARD: The incredible story of a professional basketball player trapped in Libyas civil war which was an international bestseller. His debut novel 'The Fire Raven' had a top five debut on the Amazon bestseller list under Thriller/Suspense. He survived the Libyan Civil War in 2011and travels all over the world to tell his inspirational story and motivate people around the world. He is also a professional basketball player in Europe and currently is playing in London, England.
